Carry Thy Gun, Love Thy Neighbor

A gun in the hands of an evildoer troubles me. My hope is that in times of trouble and disarray, there will be just, responsible, God-fearing men that may rise up to slay those who seek to destroy.

I do believe that every individual has the right to carry a gun for protection and defense. But please, let’s pray we never have to use it. And let’s love our neighbor before and above our guns!

If we need to use our weapons, let's understand what it means to take a life and not do so recklessly without caution or just cause.... that an accidental, unintended, unwarranted death not be the final outcome!

May we carry our guns and love our neighbors!

God Bless America! Land of the free and home of the brave!!!

  1. What other useful objects would you ban, Anthony? I did not need an airplane, but I used to own one. I could have used it to do terrible things, though I didn't. Others have used airplanes to do terrible things? Should individuals not have them? I choose not to be a victim and so if someone tries to victimize me or my family or my neighbor I'm prepared to do what ever it takes to defend them. I have guns because I have a right to have them, whether I need them or not. Now, there is a constitutional way to change the protection of my gun rights. It's called the amendment process. But rights are unalienable, God-given, and our constitution protects them. I don't need several of the rights the constitution needs but I have them and if I choose to I'll excercise them.

    1. Yeah, my wife gave me a similar response,my main point is I'm tired of seeing the defenseless being made target practice for somebody on a mad rampage, these kids need protection

    2. Guns are weapons, their purpose is obvious, they need to be used responsibly, if they continue to be abused, like when knucklehead Jayson Williams from the Nets recklessly shot a defenseless limo driver, we all may need to start packing....Im NOT necessarily against that option
